Questions
Does anything I open in Paradoc ever get uploaded?
No. The only time a document leaves your phone is when you send it yourself from the share sheet.
Is Paradoc really free?
Yes. No ads, no subscription, no paid tier, no trial that runs out.
Where do my finished files go?
They stay on your phone, where they have been the whole time. The Recent list keeps your last three results.
How do I get a file out of Paradoc?
Share or save it, the same as any other file on your phone. You choose where it goes.
Why does my compressed file still ask for a password?
Because Compress, Split and Organize keep the original's protection, so the result opens with the same password. Use Unlock if you want a copy without one.
Why does Paradoc refuse to change some PDFs?
Some are certified by their author as documents that must not be altered, so Paradoc leaves them alone rather than quietly breaking them.
I forgot the password on a PDF I protected. Can you recover it?
No, and neither can anyone else. That is the point. Paradoc encrypts with AES-256 and keeps no copy of your password, so there is no reset and no back door.
