Privacy Policy
Paradoc for iPhone
Effective 4 October 2026
This policy covers the Paradoc app for iPhone, available on the Apple App Store.
The short version
Paradoc does not collect, store or send any of your data. It has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and it makes no network connections. Everything happens on your phone.
Your documents
Files you open in Paradoc are processed entirely on your device. Results are saved in the app’s own storage on your phone, and the Recent list keeps your last three results there. Nothing is uploaded. Deleting the app deletes everything it stored.
A document only leaves your phone when you choose to send it yourself, through the iOS share sheet. Where it goes from there is up to you, and that destination’s own privacy policy applies.
Passwords
Passwords you type to open or protect a PDF are used on your device only. They are kept in memory while the app is running so you are not asked twice in one session, are never written to storage, and are never sent anywhere. We have no copy of them and cannot recover a forgotten one.
Permissions
- Camera — only to scan documents. The images are processed on your phone.
- Photos — only to import images you choose.
Paradoc asks for nothing else.
No tracking
Paradoc contains no third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking code, and does not track you across apps or websites.
Children
Paradoc collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
